JB Art Festival 2011

Hello there! How are you? Have you quilled anything today? He...it's such an interesting moments when we participate in the art festival held in July 2011. This last minute decision we made right after we visit the festival (through an invitation) and we feel that it's the right time to start introducing quilling to Johorians..hm...not many people coming to the festival (maybe because there a few events at the same day in the city)...but i think it's a worthful experience. We got new friends...new ideas coming in and the most important thing is...we got to know new future quillers who are really interested to learn quilling. They even ask me whether i got my own studio and class...haha.. :D Oh dear,i'm just a beginner.How i wish to have my own space like a studio...maybe one day.. :)
I would like to express my gratitude to my teacher, Miyyah (please visit Miyyah@Kertas) for giving me suggestions for the festival, my partner a.k.a hubby for being there for me...he even made cards! Many quilling cards! For my sister, Siti Aminah Hussin...for helping me all the time..huh,she even carried the display table alone! Thanks Adik! :) And i feel thankful for getting a very understanding and wonderful instructor for letting me to 'skip' my classes ,oh, i miss my students.. :( - in order to let me focus on my preparation for the festival. Thank you Ms Julie Low.. :)
As i always believe,it's not the benefit ($sale$) we got from the cards matters,but what kind of experience we got,and what we do with the experience....now only i know..... :)

Hello Colours!

Hi all! How's your day? We are experimenting with many colours to create lollipops,flowers, umbrella... and many more for our first participation in JB Art Festival here. But i personally think,we really had to improve more and more and more on our ideas...hm... :]

Quilled on Frames

They are two lovely sisters requested me to decorate two photo frames for them. They requested to have same design with black+white and black+purple butterfly. I tried my best to make it simmetrical..guess i need to practise more on this..hm... and the other frame is for their nephews.. :)

Hello dearies... followers and peeps..i got a request from my auntie and her friends to make a farewell cards for their colleague who are going to resign and getting married...hm...she's going to start a new life.. :) They requested one card to be in orange + black colour and the other one is in blue + pink.. i hope they like the card.. :)

My Ayah n Ibu's birthday is coming on this 27th..ya,they celebrate their birthday on the same date..! hehe! what a lovely soul mate..I love them so much! My mum once requested me to decorate a photo frame for her n my father. I am glad finally i managed to do it...in a calm and lovely mood...i must say,this is really 'made from love'.. he... :) I'm sure they'll love it..I plan to put their oldies time photos in the frame to tell them that they are always look young in my eyes.. :)

This is the card which i made for her. Honestly,this is the second card i made as the first one really did not meet my expectation at all! hahaha!! :D Even after i came out with this card,i did not feel satisfied enough. Until my hubby convinced me that it's a very nice card...hm....and what do you think dearies... The wordings 'Syukran, Ya Ummu Solehah' ~ Thank You Oh,Ummu Solehah.. :)  I appreciate and feel grateful for her support to me all this while...thanks ya Solehah.. :)

Hi all.Whoa,today only i realize that i have been quiet for some time.It's a long time since my last update isn't it? Too busy recently with my activities. Will upload once i have done everything. As for today,i would like to share my happiness in swapping card with Ummu Solehah Muhammad, the owner of My Quilling Soul. She made a very,very lovely card for me and i will look at it everyday before i go to sleep..hehe...it's so sweet.. :) Thanks Solehah! It's a pleasure swapping card with you. We will definitely do it again!!! :D I wish i could organize a swapping card event between Malaysians Cardmakers.. :) In future,maybe.. :)
